We are currently experiencing a critical situation in the world, we are facing a pandemic and reducing the number of people infected is everyone’s job. In many parts of the planet the #StayHome is being promoted. We know how fundamental this is, but we are also aware that in these times of social isolation, sometimes the hours go by very slowly. Normally we would be delighted to have more time to enjoy ourselves or to carry out activities that we like, but we usually don’t do them because the time is not enough. But when the uncertainty comes and we must stay in the same space, organize ourselves and think about how to spend 24 hours a day can become a martyrdom.

We know that having roommates, family or someone to spend the quarantine with, makes everything easier. But how can you organize yourself so that you can enjoy and seize the time you spend in your home?

Here are some tips that we are sure will help you!

  • First of all: it is important for you to maintain a routine. Take a bath, have breakfast, set your work hours, breaks and time to do other things. Try to keep your routine as daily as possible, so you keep your mind and body active and take care of your mental and physical health.
  • Take care of your body: we know that a lot of time alone or without too many things to do, leads us to eat improperly. Avoid this at all costs, try to exercise and take the opportunity to cook something healthy and respect your sleep schedules.
  • Find new ways to interact: it is nice that you can do activities with your roomies, but it is also good to talk to your friends, families or people who are not at your place. Watch Netflix remotely, play online, Skype, find ways to stay in communication with your friends. It is the perfect time to make that video call with those people who live far away and with whom the time difference does not help much, take advantage of it!
  • Enjoy the time with your roommates! Everyday life absorbs us a lot and there are times when the only interaction we have with them is when we arrive or when we leave home. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other better, cook something together, play board games, chat, eat, watch movies, put together a home karaoke, learn something new. You can exercise together, share music, do a dance battle. There are many activities, let’s get down to business, listen, live together and above all, STAY AT HOME 🙂
