Artisan Bakeries in Mexico City

BreadToShare

I dare to declare that bread is culture in Mexico City. We can't pass up that aroma that aggressively attacks us when we approach walking to a bakery. And clearly we have the best remedy for scares: a bolillo.

Rosetta

Don't miss their coffee, it's incredible although the real star that we have tasted in this place is the famous guava roll. The chocolatines are a key piece in this place so take some to go because you will surely leave the place full.

Colima 179, Roma Norte.

La Bohéme

Clearly created by a Frenchman who knows perfectly what he does and managed to import the taste of the bakery of his country. The savory comes straight from sourdough (without artificial ingredients) and is on another level. The sweetness is maintained in an empanada filled with applesauce, croissants with almonds (very good) and the roles you already know.

Querétaro 219, Roma Norte.

Maqué

A famous coffee shop in Mexico City, Condesa. Despite having higher prices than the usual bakeries in the area, we encourage you to try their conchas, pan de elote and all the cookies they make with so much dedication. Don't leave without trying the hot chocolate or a good coffee.

Ozuluama 4, Hipódromo

Mielmesabe

This small bakery stole our palate when we were walking around the area and our Chilango instinct -for bread- caught fire. The cookies are finger-licking good and each of the cakes must be tasted at least once with a good glass of milk or a strong coffee.

Monterrey 225, Roma Norte.
