What is Revive?
At Covive we want to celebrate a community and sustainable lifestyle. REVIVE is a kit designed for the community to transform glass bottles that are usually shared in community during the #ExperienciasCovive and then discarded. Thus, we can give them a second life by creating objects (such as glasses) that are made by the community for the community.
This kit consists of a glass bottle cutter, a bottle holder and some accessories that will help you make new community and environmentally friendly memories.
Instructions
- Keep at least two glass bottles that you have used in your community experiences and wash them.
- When you want to cut bottles, invite a friend from home, as it is much easier with a little support.
- Click on the video below and follow the instructions (Video min 3:26).
- Once you have the glasses, you can wash them and sit down to use them for the first time. Enjoy an object created by you for you.
Cutting and safety tips
- Always wear safety glasses.
- Place the resistor well on the white bars before connecting and switching on your tool.
- For an excellent cut, the bottles must be completely dry and have no cap or stopper.
- Prevents the bottle from bouncing when it is turned.
- You can cut thick bottles, although we recommend starting with thin beer or wine bottles so that when you cut thicker ones you will have more practice.
- Do not allow the heating element to reach maximum heat, as the heating element will start to stick to the glass.
- When the bottle is cut, immediately remove the part that remains on the heating element to prevent it from sticking.

Don't forget that you can give it any height you want and the best thing is that you decide which bottle to use, you can even make collections that represent the diversity of the Community!
