What is Mexico City for you?

Without a doubt, Mexico City is an incredible place. I would describe it as a place where you never get bored, because when you think you have seen it all you end up discovering extraordinary places. The city is full of people so different from each other that it gives you a tremendous cultural soaking of what Mexico is all about. Without a doubt you can't have been in Mexico City without having tasted one of the many delicacies such as a good guajolota, dorilocos and cakes of any ingredient you can imagine, here you will find everything.

What would be the best way to get to know Mexico City?

As chaotic as big cities can be, the subway is one of the best options for getting around and at a low cost, practically anywhere you want to go. There are even several subway stations that tell their own story and even transport you to unexpected places, from galaxies and jungles to corridors full of Mexican-style cartoons.

Can you give us a top 5 recommendations in Mexico City?

  • Before leaving and facing an urban odyssey, consider planning your route, this way you will be able to optimize time and see more places.
  • Take with you water, backpack, coins, candy, tickets and/or metro card, the latter allows you to use a wide range of transportation in the city.
  • If you want to save transportation time, avoid the Atlalilco station transfer, which is the longest and most tedious of all.
  • Unless you are a fan of stress, avoid using the subway during rush hour and take advantage of these times to go to eat or see more places, it is better to resume your trip later.
  • Parque La Mexicana has incredible views, you will find people walking their pets all the time. The Botanical Garden and the CCU are great places to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city without leaving it. At the Dolores Olmedo museum you will find beautiful peacocks. And finally get on the Reforma metrobus, get to the second floor, take a seat and enjoy the ride, you decide where to get on and where to get off.
