We believe that details and small things can be a background for great experiences to emerge. Objects of coexistence are designed to be those little things. Thinking about the values we built on, we designed a recipe book in which we could capture the diversity that characterizes the community.

Our recipe book

The idea of the recipe book stems from the Mexican tradition of making family reunions weekly or monthly. It is quite common for large families to organize meetings in the house of the grandmother or of an aunt or uncle, in which everyone brings food or asks for food, is enjoyed together and a table is held. Although much of the Mexican food is prepared the same, there are houses where it carries special ingredients and they call it “The Recipe of the House”.

We wanted to adapt this idea to our community, so we created a recipe book in which we include recipes of dishes that the Covive team make us feel happy, accompanied and have been a big part of us as people with experiences and experiences. The recipe book has different blank pages for the inhabitants to write their own recipes and together, build a recipe company that houses diverse dishes, but that rescue the belonging and essence of the house. We are enthusiastic that food is part of our identity and culture, that’s why we liked the idea that every person who has inhabited Covive, leaves their own.

How does it work?

The idea of the recipe book is that among inhabitants, they organize themselves tocook some of the recipes that are there or a new one that they can write in the recipe book. Let cooking be a pretext to get together and enjoy, tell more about who they are, where they come from, why that’s the favorite dish. The only rule is to cook together.

We are sure that when we share, listen and enjoy each other, the world becomes a more enjoyable space, because listening and understanding is how we empathize and learn, enjoy and grow as people. We are more open and enjoy diversity more and more. And that’s how sharing is living longer.
